The Process
HOW WE DO IT
At New Wave AV we do not believe in taking short cuts. In our experience each element of our 9-Step Home Cinema Installation Framework is essential to ensure your project is installed without any surprises and runs seamlessly from start to finish.
Most importantly it critical in ensuring that the finished result meets your exact expectations, without any surprises.
STEP 1
'DISCOVERY CALL'
A short 15-30 minute 'Discovery Call' is the perfect opportunity to discuss your project in more detail.
The call is a great opportunity for us to get to know each other a little while also:
Answering any questions or concerns you have
Make sure we are a good fit for each other
Agree the most suitable next steps for your project
STEP 2
Showroom Visit
In some circumstances we may arrange a site visit pre demonstration, depending on the specific project requirement.
At the showroom you will discover:
Design ideas and the quality of finish you can expect
Performance options for the right experience for your project
Creative ideas to make your project unique
STEP 3
DETAILED PROPOSAL
Before looking to provide costings for your project we run through an initial engineering process which ensures the suggested equipment will meet performance specifications for your room.
Once engineering has been completed we will:
Create proposals with optional performance enhancements based on our initial discussions
Price all other required elements that New Wave AV shall be undertaking, build-out, seating, lighting etc
Schedule a suitable time to present to you
STEP 4
Presentation
It is our goal to communicate clearly and concisely exactly what you should expect from your new entertainment space, while ensuring we have captured every detail of your requirements.
While presenting your project we will cover:
Engineering details that led us to make the specific recommendations for your project
Concept visual of our proposed design for your room
Detailed price options with full break down
STEP 5
PROJECT APPROVAL
If no further adjustments to your proposal are required and you are happy to proceed we move to formalise our agreement by:
Providing schedule of works with stage payments and initial deposit invoice
Commencement of detailed design work
Creation of photo real visualisation for final approval
STEP 6
DESIGN SIGN-OFF
At this stage we will have prepared a detailed design pack for your project. Every element will have been meticulously designed to give you exact clarity of the finished project.
At this stage we will now have the following:
Detailed construction drawings showing all elements of the rooms build
Detailed wiring layouts and schematics
Photo real visuals of all angles of the room, along with a VR design
STEP 7
BUILD STARTS
Now the fun begins!
Works shall commence as per our provided Schedule of Works.
At this stage you can rest assured that we will:
Work in a tidy and organised manner
Deliver a prompt installation with minimal disruption
Communicate in a professional manner with all other relevant parties
STEP 8
HANDOVER
Once the room is complete we undertake a full calibration of the audio-visual equipment, program room controls, and lighting scenes, as well as complete any final snagging.
We are now ready to handover the room to you. At project handover we will:
Demonstrate all elements of the room, it's operation and any further guidance needed
Make sure all family members are 100% happy with the finished room and it's operation
Make any final adjustments requested
STEP 9
SUPPORT & MAINTENANCE
Support and maintenance options are discussed at the proposal stage, so depending on what was agreed and accommodated we will move into this stage of works.
Please note manufacturers warranties are included regardless of the level of support and maintenance.
